Malaysia's Cabinet - Colours Paint a Thousand Words

The long awaited Cabinet has been announced and there must be many disappointed parties; especially in the GERAKAN and MIC that fared rather poorly and also among the East Malaysian parties who only have been given fringe portfolios.
It appears to be more a rear-guard action; with the circling of the wagons before the onslaught of a superior force - the awakening of Malaysians.

Great chart. However, if you could plot another chart showing the number of seats won by the party against the number of cabinet posts that party has, it would surprise you. What is evident is MIC and MCA are over-represented whilst the parties from Sabah and Sarawak are not. So, does BN practice 'power sharing' that it so often proclaims?

Guess UMNO knows that to try and get back voters from West Malaysia they need the Chinese and Indian partners.
But East Malaysians too are not too happy with the less important postings.
